Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into 1/4" strips
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch with the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the mixture is evenly distributed.
  • Add the sweet potato strips to the mixture. Toss the sweet potatoes until they are well coated with the seasonings. Drizzle the olive oil over the sweet potatoes and give them another toss.
  • Spread the seasoned sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have space between each strip for even cooking.
  • Bake the sweet potato fries for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure they are crispy on all sides. Note: Cook times may vary depending on your oven. Keep an eye on them the first time you make these and adjust accordingly.
  • Once the fries are golden brown and crisp, remove them from the oven.
  • Serve the sweet potato fries hot and enjoy!
